FC Twente teams up with Demcon Johan Sports and Provispo for research into injury prevention and performance improvement
In collaboration with FC Twente, Demcon Johan Sports, Provispo, the University of Twente, and Pro-F are conducting research on injury prevention and improving football player performance. Sports technology company Demcon Johan Sports will combine its innovative monitoring technology with Provispo’s advanced video analysis solutions, allowing for a comprehensive approach to player tracking. The research will span three years, with initial results expected in 2024.
By integrating heart rate sensor and GPS data with high-quality video footage from Provispo, the project aims to provide sports teams with insights that contribute to both injury prevention and faster recovery.
